Orange send three boats to national championship regatta
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 12 Syracuse University men's rowing team will compete for a national championship beginning on Friday when it takes the water at the 2016 Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championship Regatta on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J.
Syracuse will compete in its first race on Friday morning at 9 a.m. when the first varsity eight crew competes in the fourth heat. The second varsity eight boat will row at 10 a.m., while the third varsity eight will start 10 minutes later.
Tickets are $10 per day, per person, and fans under 18 years old are free. Parking is $10 per day, as well. If purchasing at the event, cash is the only the form of payment accepted.
Fans can pre-purchase tickets and parking passes here. In addition, there is a three-day admission option for a reduced rate of $25, which is only available online.
For those not attending, live video and results will be available all three days from the national championship regatta.
