SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 24 Syracuse women's basketball team hosts No. 23/22 NC State in a top-25 clash on Thursday night in the friendly confines of the Carrier Dome. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online, by phone at 1-888-DOMETIX, or by visiting the Carrier Dome box office (Gate B) during normal business hours.

Thursday's game will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra with Michael Tricarico (play-by-play) on the call. Brian Higgins '04 will be live on the Syracuse IMG Sports Network. As always, follow @CuseWBB on Twitter for live in-game updates.

In their last outing, the Orange notched a 79-52 victory against Boston College on Jan. 8. Senior guard Alexis Peterson was one assist shy of matching the program single-game record, dishing out 14 helpers. Redshirt senior guard Brittney Sykes notched her team-leading sixth double-double of the season.

NC State comes into the weekday matchup touting a 13-4 overall record and 3-1 mark in conference competition. The Wolfpack are ranked No. 22 nationally in the latest coaches' rankings and No. 23 in the country in the most recent AP Poll. In its last game, the team defeated Wake Forest, 65-50, on Jan. 8.

SERIES BREAKDOWN
Syracuse and NC State will meet for the eighth time on the hardwood on Thursday night in the Carrier Dome. The Wolfpack own a 4-3 advantage in the all-time series, but the Orange have won each of the past three matchups.

In the last contest between the two teams, Syracuse recorded an 80-61 victory in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament quarterfinals on March 4, 2016. Guard Alexis Peterson led the team with 18 points in the win.

The Orange hit the road for Georgia Tech on Sunday afternoon. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. from Hank McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta. The game will be televised locally and available on WatchESPN online. A full list of local affiliates will be available closer to the date of the game.
