SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 24 Syracuse women's basketball team takes on No. 7/6 Florida State on the road on Thursday night. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. in the Tucker Center in Tallahassee, Fla.

Thursday's game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra with Tom Block (play-by-play) and Melissa Bruner (analyst) on the call. Brian Higgins '04 will be live on the Syracuse IMG Sports Network. As always, follow @CuseWBB on Twitter for live in-game updates.

In their last outing, the Orange fell at Georgia Tech, 75-66, on Jan. 15. Senior guard Alexis Peterson moved up two spots on the program's all-time scoring list following a 29-point effort against the Yellow Jackets.

Florida State comes into the weekday matchup sporting a 17-2 overall record and 5-1 mark in conference competition. The Seminoles rank sixth nationally in the most recent coaches' rankings and seventh in the country in the latest AP Poll. In its last game, the team defeated Clemson, 86-27, on Jan. 15.

SERIES BREAKDOWN
Syracuse and Florida State will meet for the fourth time on the hardwood on Thursday night. The Seminoles lead the all-time series, 2-1, against the Orange.

In the last contest between the two teams, Syracuse defeated No. 10/9 Florida State, 83-73, on Feb. 18, 2016. Guard Alexis Peterson led the way with 17 points on the night, while guard Brittney Sykes contributed 15 points.

UP NEXT
The Orange will return to the friendly confines of the Carrier Dome on Sunday afternoon when they host No. 14/14 Miami.
