SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's ice hockey team will travel to Missouri for a weekend series with Lindenwood at the Lindenwood Ice Arena to continue College Hockey America play. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The Orange (7-10-5, 6-2-2 CHA) are coming off a sweep of Penn State last weekend in Syracuse. 'Cuse came away with 3-1 and 4-1 victories against the Nittany Lions. Emily Costales and Allie Munroe each had multiple goal performances and Stephanie Grossi had four points over the course of the two games.

Syracuse is currently in second place in CHA standings with 14 points, just three points behind first-place Robert Morris. 'Cuse is led in scoring by Grossi, who has recorded 17 points this season, the eighth most in the league. Goaltender Abbey Miller leads the conference with a 2.00 goals against average.

Lindenwood (5-14-2, 3-6-1 CHA) picked up a 2-1 upset against No. 7 Robert Morris last weekend at home. The Lions are currently in fifth place in conference standings with seven points. Cierra Paisley leads Lindenwood with 10 points this season and Britannia Gillanders and Courtney Ganske are the leading goal scorers with four each.

The two programs have met 22 times in series history and the Orange lead the Lions, 17-3-2, all-time. Earlier this season, Syracuse shut out Lindenwood in back-to-back games at Tennity Ice Pavilion. Miller was responsible for the consecutive shutouts.
