SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 25 Syracuse women's basketball team hits the road in search of its second win in conference competition when it takes on Clemson on Thursday night. Tip time is set for 7 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, S.C.

In their last outing, the Orange notched a 54-49 victory against Virginia on Jan. 2. Syracuse overcame a 17-point deficit en route to its first ACC victory of the 2016-17 season. It marked the largest deficit the team has overcome since climbing out of an 18-point hole at No. 6/6 North Carolina on Jan. 30, 2014.

Clemson comes into the weekday tilt with an 11-3 overall mark and 0-1 record in conference action. The Tigers have already doubled its win total from a season ago, when they finished with a 4-26 overall record. The team is looking for its first victory in ACC play since the 2014-15 campaign, losing its past 32 league games.

Syracuse and Clemson will meet for the sixth time on the hardwood on Thursday night at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, S.C. The Orange have won every meeting against the Tigers.

In the last meeting between the two teams, Syracuse notched an 83-62 victory on Feb. 4, 2016. Guard Alexis Peterson and center Briana Day combined for 26 points in the 21-point win. Guard Abby Grant hit two buzzer-beaters in the game, as well.
