Orange Set for ITA Northeast Regionals

Syracuse, N.Y.—The Syracuse women's tennis team is set to participate in the ITA Northeast Regionals over the next five days in Philadelphia, Penn. The tournament will begin on Wednesday and last through Monday.
Six members will represent the Orange in the singles competition with all six qualifying for the main draw portion of the tournament. Gabriela Knutson, Anna Shkudun and Miranda Ramirez all received first round byes while Maria Tritou, Libi Mesh, and Dina Hegab will open play on Thursday in the round of 128.
The Orange send three doubles teams to the Northeast Regionals with the pairings of Knutson and Shkudun, Mesh and Hegab, and Ramirez and Tritou all beginning competition on Thursday.
The schedule for the tournament is as follows:
Wednesday, October 18 (10 a.m.): Qualifying singles
Thursday, October 19 (9 a.m.): Doubles (round 64, round 32), Singles (round of 128)
Friday, October 20 (9 a.m.): Singles (round 64, round 32)
Saturday, October 21 (10 a.m.): Singles (round 16), Doubles (round 16, quarters)
Sunday, October 22 (10 a.m.): Singles (quarters, semis), Doubles (semis)
Monday, October 23 (10 a.m.): Singles (finals), Doubles (finals)
