Orange Ranked 12th in Latest Poll

The Syracuse field hockey team moved to No. 12 in this week's NFHCA/Penn Monto Coaches Poll after falling to Penn on Sunday's matchup in Philadelphia.
UConn remains No. 1 in this week's poll, totaling 1,097 points and 41 first place votes. Duke follows, ranked No. 2, rounding up 1,009 points and two first place votes. Michigan moved up to the No. 3 spot with 964 points, followed by Virginia (936) and Penn State (866) completing the top five rankings.
Tuesday marks 108 straight polls in which Syracuse has been represented, dating back to start of the 2008 season.
Pacific and 'Cuse will meet at noon on Saturday, with the Orange hosting the Tigers in its final regular season game before the ACC tournament kicks off.
