B1G/ACC CHALLENGE
The Orange and the Wildcats meet in this year's edition of the B1G/ACC Challenge. The ACC owns a 71-51 edge over the Big 10 in Challenge games and has won seven Challenge titles. Syracuse holds a 2-2 record in B1G/ACC Challenge games, most recently defeating Michigan State, 75-64, in 2016.
Â
There have been three ties in Challenge history coming in 2011 (6-6), 2014 (7-7) and 2015 (7-7). In the 10-year history of the Challenge, there have been six overtime games and 25 games decided by five or fewer points.
Â
This is just the second meeting between the Orange and the Wildcats in program history. Northwestern came out on top, 74-52, in the first match-up back in 1990.
Â
THREES STARTING TO FALL

Â
Syracuse has poured in at least 10 threes in three consecutive games, with a team-best 12 against Vanderbilt on Nov. 24. Sophomore Gabrielle Cooper paces the Orange with 18 threes this year, shooting .340 (18-of-53) from beyond the arc. Two Syracuse athletes, in addition to Cooper, have knocked down 10+ shots from 3-point range this season, Drummond (13) and Isis Young (10).
