In their first-of-two meets in Boston this weekend, the Orange turned in a pair of personal bests in the 60-meter dash to kick off the weekend.
Winston Lee turned in a new personal best time of 6.68 seconds in the 60-meter dash, which ties him for the 17th-best time nationally in the event to date. He won the race by a large margin as well, finishing .13 seconds ahead of Northeastern's Naukym Morton in second.
Kashif Miller also raced in the event, finishing ninth and narrowly missing the finals by 0.04 seconds with his time of 6.97.
Kadejhia Sellers also posted a PR in the 60-meter dash. Not her primary event, she still turned in a time of 7.37 seconds, which was good for second overall and first among collegiate competitors at the meet. Her time is 0.1 seconds off Shaina Harrison's school record in the event.
Victoria Parker (7.75) and Justice Richardson (7.76) finished 11th and 12th behind Sellers.
As usual, the 60-meter hurdles were top-heavy for the Orange, with Freddie Crittenden III leading the way with a 7.72-second finish for the win. His time would be good for second nationally this season had he not already posted a better time of 7.67.
Following Crittenden was David Gilstrap in second (8.03 seconds) and Chevis Armstead III (8.11 seconds) in fourth.
Tia Thevenin (8.30 seconds) finished third in the women's event with Danielle Delgado (8.39 seconds) right behind in fourth.
'Cuse also had a trio of long jumpers at the event, with Pascal Bastein (6.68 meters) and Randall Johnson (6.63 meters) taking 11th and 12th, respectively. Aviana Goode (5.27 meters) placed 17th overall on the women's side.
In the triple jump, Ebhani Blackwood (11.99 meters) and Regine Hunter (11.94 meters) placed fourth and sixth.
The Orange will continue action across town on Saturday at the John Thomas Invitational.
