Orange Take on Louisville on Friday

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's tennis team will take on Louisville at Drumlins Country Club on Friday afternoon. The match is set for 3 p.m.

The Orange (5-8, 2-3 ACC) are coming off of a 4-3 loss to No. 6 Georgia Tech on Sunday, March 26. Miranda Ramirez, in her first match at the No. 1 singles spot, defeated No. 46 Rasheeda McAdoo. Gabriela Knutson also picked up a win at the No. 3 spot. Dina Hegab rounded out the singles wins for Syracuse with a three-set comeback victory at No. 6.

Ramirez leads Syracuse with an 11-1 singles record, including a 10-match winning streak. Dina Hegab and Gabriela Knutson have each won six singles matches.

Louisville (13-5, 2-4 ACC) comes into the match after losing to Florida State, 4-0, last Friday and defeating Boston College, 4-3, on Saturday. The Cardinals also have a win over Pittsburgh in league play.
