Orange Come Up Short at #27 Notre Dame

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Syracuse women's tennis team was defeated by No. 27 Notre Dame this afternoon in South Bend.
The Orange dropped the doubles point to begin the match after losing two of the three sets. Gabriela Knutson and Miranda Ramirez did pick up a win at the No. 1, 6-4.
In singles, Ramirez and Knutson won two points for Syracuse. Ramirez improved to 8-1 this season with a three-set win at the No. 2 spot. Knutson defeated No. 118 Allison Miller, 6-1, 6-2.
Syracuse will take a week off before traveling to Lakeland, Fla. to face Navy. That game will begin at noon.
