Crittenden Finishes Second at Penn Relays
4/29/2017 9:01:00 PM | Track and Field
Freddie Crittenden III was 0.02 seconds off his personal best time in the 110-meter hurdles during Saturday's Penn Relays, where he took second.
Crittenden's time of 13.44 seconds, which would stand for the world's eighth fastest time had he not already owned the world's sixth-best mark, was good for second behind UTech Jamaica's Ronald Levy (13.33 seconds).
Crittenden's mark tied the second-fastest race in Syracuse history with 2012 NCAA Indoor Champion Jarret Eaton, which he set during the 2012 outdoor campaign and was the previous school record before Crittenden bested it at the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational in March.
The rest of the Orange members in action this weekend will compete at Cornell on Sunday.
