A trio of Syracuse field hockey players are competing in the Young Women's National Championship this week in Lancaster, Pa.

Jen Bleakney and Erin Gillingham are both competing for USA Eagles, while Claire Webb competes for USA Gold.

Heading into the final day of pool play, Bleakney and Gillingham's Eagles will take on team USA Freedom in search of their first win of the week, while USA Gold enters its matchup vs. USA Red with a 0-1-1 record as well.

Bleakney, a rising junior, played in all-19 games with four starts, recording 14 points and a pair of goals in her sophomore season. Gillingham is entering her final year at 'Cuse, she also saw action in every game last season, starting 11. Webb's sophomore year is set to begin with the Orange. She started 18 games as a true freshman back last season.

Tournament play begins Friday at 10 a.m. for the final standings to be determined.
