
Orange Alums Turn in Strong Performances at USATF Championships

Syracuse alums Jarret Eaton and Sarah Pagano each turned in top-eight finishes in their respective events at the USATF Championships this weekend.
Eaton placed seventh in the men's 110-meter hurdles, while Pagano took eighth in the 5000-meters to represent the Orange at the U.S. Championships.
Eaton crossed the line in 13.61 in the final after running a 13.59 in the semifinals earlier in the day. The 2012 NCAA 60-Meter Hurdles Champion, Eaton finished fourth at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in 2016.
Pagano crossed the line in 15:26.04 to take eighth in her race. Pagano has been racing for Boston Athletic Association since her graduation and competed in both the 10k and 5k at last year's U.S. Olympic Trials. This fall, she represented the U.S. in a win over Europe in the Great Edinburgh XCountry Challenge – alongside fellow 'Cuse alum Martin Hehir and incoming freshman Noah Affolder.
