Syracuse alum and former graduate assistant Kati Nearhouse has been hired by Bryant as an assistant coach, the school announced.

Nearhouse is the latest 'Cuse alum to join the coaching ranks after Jordan Page was hired by Shippensburg this week and with Liz Sack (St. Joseph's), Martina Loncarica (William and Mary) each getting assistant coaching jobs this season as well. Former Orange assistant Tara Zollinger accepted the head coaching job at Shippensburg this offseason as well.

In addition, Anna Crumb is entering her third season at Kenyon College.

Nearhouse was a member of the Orange's first team to reach the NCAA Championship game in 2014, starting 19 games and recording eight points. She then worked with the program in the two years that followed, assisting the program during the 2015 NCAA Championship run.

'Cuse will open their 2017 slate on the road at Cal on August 25.
