As they prepare to host Boston College on Friday night and California on Sunday afternoon, the Syracuse Field Hockey team checked in at No. 13 in this week's Penn Monto/NFHCA Poll.

Syracuse (6-4) lost to top-ranked North Carolina on the road in their lone contest last week, while U freshman forward Tess Queen scored the Orange's loan goal, her first collegiate score.

All seven of the ACC teams are ranked in the top 18 of the poll. Undefeated North Carolina tops the polls. No. 4 Duke, No. 8 Boston College, No. 9 Louisville, No. 16 Wake Forest, and No. 18 Virginia round out the league representation in the polls.

'Cuse hosts a pair of games this weekend, first welcoming No. 8 Boston College to J.S. Coyne Stadium on Friday at 5 p.m., before hosting Cal on Sunday at 2 p.m. Admission is free to both contests.
