Orange next season. A native of Brookeville, Md., Morrison tallied 54 goals and 14 assists over her junior and senior years for St. John's College High School.
"I am extremely excited to welcome this 2019 class to our Syracuse family," head coach Ange Bradley said. "This class is one of the most talented classes we have recruited to Syracuse. We have a balance of domestic and international talent. I am pleased to welcome this class to our global Syracuse family."
Morrison joins three others, Marie Sommer, Hailey Bitters and Olivia Graham, as the fourth member of the 2019 class.
During her high school career at St. John's, Morrison won a WCAC conference championship in all four years playing midfield for the Cadets, and earned team MVP and WCAC Player of the Year honors her senior year.
The 5-foot-6 midfielder is a prolific scorer who has a nose for the goal. She was named First Team WCAC three times and earned First Team All-Metropolitan Area accolades as a junior en route to leading her team to four-straight WCAC titles.
"I chose Syracuse because I loved the team dynamic that the program fosters," Morrison said. "I want to win a national championship and with Syracuse's players and coaches, I believe that we can."
Morrison played club hockey for the Washington Wolves led by Syracuse alumna Gloria Nantulya.
"I want to leave behind a legacy of working as hard as possible and working with and for each other," Morrison added.
Syracuse went 8-8 overall and 1-5 in the Atlantic Coast Conference this season.
