
Field Hockey Earns National Academic Team Award

Gilbert, Ariz. – The Syracuse University field hockey team has once again been recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association for its academic success according to an announcement made Monday. 'Cuse is one of 74 Division I programs to have earned the 2017 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Team Academic Award.
The Division I National Academic Team Award recognizes those programs that earned a team GPA of 3.30 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year.
Brown University posted the highest team GPA with a 3.74 mark while Syracuse (3.086) and the other six Atlantic Coast Conference schools were all recognized.
