No. 18 Orange Face Top Competition at the Clemson Invitational

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 18 Syracuse women's rowing team will begin competition on Friday, April 13, at the Clemson Invitational at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C. Due to inclement weather, the Orange will race their third varsity eight, first varsity four, second varsity eight and first varsity eight preliminary heats starting at 6:00 pm ET Friday.
Eight of the 21 teams competing at Clemson, including Syracuse, ranked in this week's US Rowing/CRCA Coaches Poll with No. 4 Ohio State debuting as the only top-5 team.
Syracuse will face six teams (Boston U., Indiana, Northeastern, Cornell, Minnesota and Navy) for the second time this spring. The seven teams, including 'Cuse, all competed at the Doc Hosea Invitational on March 31st. Indiana earned the most amount of points (108) while Syracuse finished second with 102 points.
