SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The schedule for the three-game series between Syracuse (23-18, 5-11 ACC) has been shifted. The updated game dates and times can be seen below.

Games one and two: Saturday, Apr. 21 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. (Kids Club Day)

Game three: Sunday, Apr. 22 at 12 p.m. (Bark in the Ball Park)

For Starters
- Sophomore Alexa Romero pitched her 13th complete game of the season and tied her career-high of 14 strikeouts in a 7-1 win over Niagara on Wednesday. Romero has three no-hitters in 2018 and ranks fifth nationally with 10.6 strikeouts per seven innings and sixth with 219 strikeouts.

- Junior Bryce Holmgren leads the ACC and ranks eighth in the nation with a .558 on-base percentage. Holmgren also leads the conference with a .417 batting average.

- Junior Alicia Hansen made her 100th consecutive start for the Orange in game one of the doubleheader against Niagara on Wednesday. Hansen is the active leader on the Orange with 101 straight starts and she's followed by Holmgren (91) and freshman Gabby Teran (41).

- Syracuse ranks second nationally with .49 triples per game in 2018. Hansen leads the ACC and ranks fifth nationally with six triples this season. The rest of the Orange have combined for 14 triples. Teran has four and sophomore Toni Martin is next in the rankings with three.

- The Wolfpack hold a 7-3 advantage in the all-time series, but 'Cuse has won three of the last five outings.

Scouting the Wolfpack
- NC State enters the weekend with a 22-22 overall record and a 5-11 mark in ACC play. The Wolfpack have lost eight of their last 10 contests.

- Sam Russ leads NC State with a .320 batting average and Cheyenne Balzer (.315), Alyssa Compton (.310) and Haylee Kobziak (.308) join Russ as the only batters hitting above .300. Chandley Garner has team-highs of eight homeruns and 26 RBI.

- Devin Wallace has started 24 games in the circle for the Wolfpack and is 11-11 with a 2.66 ERA and 118 strikeouts. Kama Woodall has appeared in 25 games with 15 starts and is 8-8 with a 3.29 ERA and 52 strikeouts. Harli Hubbard has a .86 ERA in 16.1 innings of work.

- Shawn Rychcik is in his sixth year as head coach of the NC State softball program. In 2015, he guided NC State to its first-ever appearance in an NCAA Super Regional. The Wolfpack cruised through the NCAA Harrisonburg (Va.) Regional with a perfect 3-0 record.
