Germano Bests PR to Highlight Virginia Challenge Day 2

A day after Paige Stoner and Justyn Knight broke school records for the Orange, 'Cuse was back in action at the Virginia Challenge, as another personal best fell.

Philo Germano took fourth in the 1500-meters, crossing the line in 3:43.46, setting a new personal best time in the process.
Simon Smith was not far off, taking 20th overall in 3:47.32, while Nathan Henderson finished third amongst the Orange with a time of 3:58.01, good for 38th overall.
In the 5k, Iliass Aouani crossed the line in 14:06.66, a time that placed him in 20th overall. Kevin James was right on his heels in 21st (14:09.21). Joe Dragon (29th/14:25.78) and Dominic Hockenbury (39th/14:37.84), rounded out the Orange in the field.
Rachel Bonner (4:28.42) crossed the line in 26th in the women's 1500-meters, while Madeleine Davison finished the 5k in 17:18.30, good for 35th.
The Orange are back in action next weekend at the Big Red Invitational.
