Orange Ranked No. 12 in Latest Penn Monto/NFHCA Poll

Syracuse University's field hockey team is No. 12 in the latest Penn Monto/NFHCA Poll leading into Friday's Atlantic Coast Conference home opener against No. 4 Duke (4-2). The Orange are ranked in the 112^th-consecutive poll dating back to the start of the 2008 season.

'Cuse (3-2) looks to snap a two-game losing streak after going 0-2 last weekend against then No. 8 Virginia and No. 1 UConn.

North Carolina (6-0) jumped UConn (6-0) for the top spot in this week's poll. Five ACC schools sit inside the top-10 with Virginia (7^th), Louisville (8^th) and Boston College (9^th) joining No. 1 UNC and No. 4 Duke.

The Orange host a pair of games this weekend welcoming the Blue Devils to J.S. Coyne Stadium at 4 p.m. on Friday for the annual breast cancer awareness game. Fans are encouraged to wear pink. On Sunday, 'Cuse returns to action against Bucknell at 1 p.m. for its "Stick it to Cancer" game.

Both games will be on ACC Network Extra with Jonah Karp and Syracuse field hockey alumna Tracy Parker on the call.
