No. 10 Orange Tangle No. 1 Huskies Sunday

Syracuse, N.Y. - After a heartbreaking double overtime loss in the Atlantic Coast Conference opener Friday night, the tenth-ranked Orange return home to J.S. Coyne Stadium Sunday at 1 p.m. to host top-ranked and defending national champion UConn. The Orange hold a 10-29-1 all-time record against the Huskies and look for their first win against Connecticut since 2015.

'Cuse boasts a 3-1 record with a pair of top-25 wins over No. 21 Albany and No. 15 Stanford this season. The Orange lost a tough battle to No. 8 Virginia (3-1) Friday night in the first ACC game of the season. UConn is coming off a dominant 8-3 win over UMass Friday night and holds a 5-0 record this season.

Head Coach Ange Bradley has led the Orange to an 9-8 record against UConn during her tenure at Syracuse.

Fans can earn 1,000 points in the Syracuse Athletics rewards program at Sunday's game. Sunday is also the annual Doggy Day at Coyne. Fans are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends, on leash, to support the Syracuse field hockey team.
