
Hoffmann Named ACC Offensive Player of the Week

Syracuse, N.Y. – Two goals in a crucial regular season finale led to Syracuse junior Carolin Hoffmann earning the final ACC Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season Tuesday afternoon. Hoffmann scored both the equalizer and the game-winning goal in overtime as No. 14 Syracuse defeated No. 5 Louisville last Saturday.
The win marked Syracuse's third road win over a top-5 opponent this season. The Orange improved to 7-0 in overtime games and ended the regular season on a four-game win streak.
Defeating Louisville solidified 'Cuse as the No. 4 seed in the upcoming ACC Tournament where the Orange play the 5-seed Cardinals at noon on Thursday, Nov. 7 in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
