Laura Hurff scores game winning goal for USA against Chile

Pair of Orange Highlight the 2020 Field Hockey USWNT Roster

Lancaster, Pa. –Syracuse All-American Laura Hurff joins former Orange teammate Jess Jecko on the 2020 U.S. Women's National Team roster. Hurff and Jecko were members of Syracuse's 2015 field hockey squad that captured the first NCAA Championship in school history by a female team.

Hurff has 23 international caps to her name since joining the senior national team in 2018. She's currently a member of the indoor national team and competed at the Rohrmax Cup in Vienna, Austria at the start of the month. Jecko, a native of Sauquoit, N.Y., was named 'Queen of the Game' in her first cap on Sept. 12, 2018, and earned FIH Pro League Player of the Match honors on March 2, 2019 during Team USA's series against Chile.

Eight new faces and two returners make up the majority of the 2020 roster. The squad has a pair of training camps from Feb. 28-March 2 in Berkeley, Calif., and March 27-29 in Chapel Hill and Durham, N.C., before a Scotland Tour scheduled for April 16-22.
