de Vries Named to U.S. U-21 National Team

Syracuse, N.Y – Syracuse All-American Charlotte De Vries is the newest member of the U.S. U21 Women's National Team. After a three-day training session, with 60 athletes at Spooky Nook Sports in Lancaster, Pa., the Women's National Team Junior High Performance Staff set its roster.
De Vries led the Orange with 15 goals and 31 points in 2019. She started every game of her freshman campaign en route to earning All-ACC First Team and NFHCA All-America Second Team honors. She scored in each of the first six games for 'Cuse and had three multi-goal games including a hat trick in a 4-3 win at Cal on Oct. 4.
The U.S. U-21 Team will begin training in Chula Vista, Calif., from Feb. 20-24. The second training camp will take place alongside the other women's Junior National Teams from March 27-29 in Chapel Hill and Durham, N.C. Each training camp is part of the team's preparation for the Junior Pan American Championship that will take place from Nov. 30-Dec. 13 in Santiago, Chile.
