
Orange Volleyball Adds Hoffman for 2021-22

Setter Riley Hoffman will join the Syracuse University volleyball program for the 2021-22 season. The Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association (MIVCA) All-State Second Team setter from Ada, Michigan led Forest Hills Eastern High School to Ottawa-Kent Gold Conference championship as a senior. She also earned MIVCA All-Region and Ottawa-Kent Gold All-Conference honors. Hoffman also played club volleyball for the Michigan Volleyball Academic for six years.
A two-time captain for head coach Shelby Horne, Hoffman recorded 585 assists, 205 digs and 72 service aces and 52 kills as a senior. She led the Hawks to an 18-7 overall record, including 8-1 in conference, and the ninth spot in the MIVCA Division 2 rankings. Hoffman, who set the Forest Hills Eastern record for assists in a game with 54, earned Forest Hills Eastern Most Valuable Player honors as a junior and senior. She is a member of the National Honor Society. The daughter of Kathy Hoffman and Sara Easter, Riley has one sister, Kennedy.
