SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The final stretch of the regular season continues for the Syracuse ice hockey team this weekend. The Orange host Lindenwood for two games at Tennity Ice Pavilion, puck drop Friday coming at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 3 p.m. Admission and parking to all games are free, and both games will stream live on Cuse.tv.
Friday is "I Heart Hockey Night" where pink beads and Valentine's Day candy will be available, and 'Cuse is celebrating Women in Sports Night on Saturday. Fans will have the opportunity to win two courtside tickets to the Fab. 20 Syracuse women's basketball game against Clemson. Saturday is also the final day of the NHL 20 tournament, and chicken tenders will also be available for fans.
Finishing Strong
The College Hockey America (CHA) tournament runs March 5-7 in Buffalo, N.Y. Syracuse is the defending champion, having taken down Lindenwood (4-1), Mercyhurst (4-3) and Robert Morris (6-2) in last year's tournament to win the first CHA title in program history.
Since 2016, the Orange have fared well in their final six games leading up to the CHA Tournament. Syracuse has a 16-7-1 record in these games over the past four seasons.Â
The Orange hold a 12-10 record in the CHA Tournament, scoring 64 goals while allowing 46. Syracuse's most frequent postseason foe is Mercyhurst. The two programs have met eight times in the tournament and the Lakers lead the postseason series 7-1.Â

Syracuse earned a win and a draw against conference foe RIT last weekend to maintain its third-place standing in the CHA. Sophomore Abby Moloughney was the star of the weekend, recording four points across both games (1 G, 3 A). Her efforts earned her CHA Player of the Week, Syracuse's seventh weekly conference honor of the year.

Moloughney enters this weekend riding a four-game point streak. It's her second four-game streak of the season and is tied with Lindsay Eastwood for longest streak of the year.
