
Orange Open Up Weekend at Valentine Invite

Aja Davis cruised to a victory in the 60-meter dash in a time of 7.54 seconds, 0.12 ahead of the field, to headline day one of the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at Boston University. Â
Dasia Pressley finished third overall in the 200-meter dash in a time of 23.98 seconds, while teammate Dennisha Page also turned in a top-10 performance with a mark of 24.36 seconds. Page's time is a new career best for the freshman, while Pressley was just 0.02 seconds off her prior season best time.
Shaleah Colaire fastest prelim time among collegians (8.68) in the 60-meter hurdles, before going on to take sixth overall in the finals.
Annie Heffernan (9:36.35), Abigail Spiers (9:46.90), Justus Holden-Betts (10:02.29) and Emily Nugent (10:05.25) all raced in the women's 3000-meter run. The later three all finished in the top-three of their section and PRed. Kate Kemnitz (5:08.26) competed in the women's mile for the Orange to conclude the day.
The men will compete on Saturday.
