SYRACUSE, NY. – The Orange make their way back home to Syracuse to take on ACC opponent NC State in a noon match on Friday, October 15 at the Women's Building. Syracuse (14-4 overall, 3-3 ACC) will begin its longest home game stretch with four matches during the next two weeks. Fans can watch on ACCNX.
Orange Leaders
Polina Shemanova leads the ACC in aces per set (0.50), service aces (32), and total kills (274). Shemanova is also ranked second in the conference in kills per set (4.28).
Junior Marina Markova is second in the ACC in kills (269) and third in kills per set (4.20). Senior Elena Karakasi is second in the ACC for assists (609).
The Series vs. NC State
This will be the 14th contest between the Orange and the Wolfpack. Syracuse beat NC State in the two most recent matches, including the 2019 match in Syracuse.
The Opponent
NC State is 9-8 overall and 3-3 in the conference. The Wolfpack is coming into this weekend with two wins against Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
