SYRACUSE, NY. – The Orange take on #13 Georgia Tech (15-3 overall, 6-2 ACC) and Clemson (11-7, 3-4) this weekend in the Women's Building. First serve against the Yellow Jackets is at 7 p.m. on Friday. The match against Clemson is set for Sunday at 1 p.m. Syracuse (14-6, 3-5) is looking to return to the win column after home losses against NC State and UNC. Admission to all Syracuse home volleyball matches is free. All fans attending games must adhere to Syracuse University's COVID-19 policy, which can be found here.
Orange Leaders
Polina Shemanova leads the ACC in service aces (32). Shemanova is ranked second in the conference in aces per set (0.45), and kills (295).
Junior Marina Markova tops the ACC in kills (296). She is second in kills per set (4.17). Senior Elena Karakasi is second in the ACC for assists (681).
The Series vs. Georgia Tech and Clemson
The Orange and the Yellow Jackets have played 12 times, with each team winning six matches. Syracuse last beat Georgia Tech in Atlanta in 2018.
The Orange are 11-3 against Clemson.
The Opponents
The Yellow Jackets are ranked 13th nationally. Most recently they beat Duke.
