
Two Hurdlers Reach Finals at Clemson

Freshman Brevin Sims (8.00) and junior Jamil Adams (8.13) each reached the finals of the men's 60-meter hurdles on day one of Clemson's Tiger Paw Invitational.
Sims clocked a time of 8.05 seconds in the prelims and bested it by 0.05 in the final to finish fifth overall. Adams ran a 8.14 in the prelims, which he clocked a faster finals time than to finish seventh.
The lone other competitor on the day for Syracuse was freshman Ashley Wallace, who turned in a time of 9.22 seconds in the women's 60-meter hurdles.
Sims and Wallace are scheduled to race in the 200s tomorrow.
