Boeheim Named To ACC All-Tournament Team

Syracuse junior guard Buddy Boeheim was named to the All-ACC Tournament First Team. The honors were announced following the ACC Tournament championship game on Saturday night.
Boeheim helped Syracuse to a second-round victory against NC State, scoring 27 points, and then tallied a career-high 31 points in a 72-69 quarterfinal loss to top-seeded Virginia.
In the two ACC Tournament contests, Boeheim was 20-33 (.606) from the field, including 11-of-20 (.550) on 3-point attempts. He was an unblemished 7-of-7 (1.000) from the free-throw line, and averaged 29.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.
Syracuse (16-9) is waiting for the announcement of the NCAA Tournament field on Sunday evening.
