Abigail Spiers raced to a time of 16:59.82 in the women's 5k to headline the second day of the Raleigh Relays for the Orange.

Spiers was eighth in her section of the meet and 38th overall in a field of 98 runners. Freshman Emma Eastman wasn't far behind in her first outdoor 5k in an Syracuse uniform. She raced to a time of 17:18.90.
