Hogan Earns ACC Honor

Lauren Hogan is the ACC Volleyball co-Freshman of the Week for her performances against Wake Forest and Duke. It is her second Rookie of the Week honor this season.

A defensive specialist, Hogan played a big role in wins against Wake Forest (3-0) and Duke (3-2). The freshman from Loveland, Ohio, averaged 5.5 digs per set, recording 44 total. She also had seven assists, four ace and added a kill on a hustle play in which she sent the ball to the back of Duke's playng area with a swing of her right arm while facing away from the net at Syracuse's end line. This season, Hogan has a .986 reception percentage, having received 296 balls and committing just four errors, and averages 4.98 digs per set. She also has 36 assists and 11 service aces in 14 matches.

Syracuse will close out the regular season with a pair of matches at Florida State. The Orange will play FSU on Thursday April 1 (5 pm, ACCNX) and NC State on Friday April 2 (2:30 pm).
