
Orange Add Kate Proefrock for 2021

Kate Proefrock will attend Syracuse University and play field hockey for the Orange for the 2021 season. Proefrock was a three-sport athlete at Dulaney High School (Md.) where she excelled in field hockey, lacrosse and track.
On the hockey field, she helped the Lions to to a 40-10 record and a 4-1 postseason record. Proefrock scored 25 goals during her high school career which was cut short when the COVID-19 pandemic canceled her senior season. While at DHS, the Lions were three-time state finalists and went undefeated in the regular season during Proefrock's freshman campaign. She earned All-Baltimore County Second Team honors in 2018 and 2019 and was the team's leading goal scorer.Â
Proefrock is a member of the club Freedom HKY with fellow Syracuse signee, Brooke Borzymowski.
She chose Syracuse because she enjoy's challenging herself to become better in everything she does and at Syracuse she will be challenge not only on the field, but in the classroom as well.
