MISSING MANGAKAHIA
Syracuse was forced to battle the Seminoles without senior guard Tiana Mangakahia. She was on the sideline with a lower body injury that was suffered in the team's final regular-season game last Sunday against NC State.
Mangakahia, a finalist for the 2021 Nancy Liberman Award, earned All-ACC Honorable Mention honors this winter.
OF NOTE:
- Cardoso recorded her fifth career double double (16 points, 13 rebounds)
- The last time Syracuse hit a shot at the buzzer to win was when Engstler hit the winning shot against #8 Florida State on Jan. 2, 2020 off the famous Coach Q "Outback Special" in overtime at the Dome
- The last time five players scored in double figures was in Syracuse's regular-season win against Boston College on Feb. 25, 2021
- Florida State's Bianca Jackson led all scorers with 25 points.
Syracuse advances to face No.1 seed Louisville, tomorrow in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament. Action tips off at noon on the ACC Network.
