The Syracuse softball team will host No. 9 Florida State for a four-game ACC series Friday through Sunday. Game one of the series is scheduled for Friday, April 16 at 4 p.m. A doubleheader is schedule for Saturday at 1 and 3 p.m. and the series wraps up Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Skytop Softball Stadium. Fans can watch all four games on ACCNXÂ through the ESPN app.Â
It marks the first home ACC series for the Orange since hosting the Seminoles for a three-game series May 3-5, 2019.Â
Syracuse is 15-11 overall and an even 8-8 in the ACC. Syracuse has played three ACC series thus far and was swept by Duke, swept Pitt and split 2-2 vs. Boston College most recently. The home series against Georgia Tech scheduled April 1-3 was postponed due to weather.Â
Florida State is 27-6 overall and 15-2 in the ACC. The two league losses were to then No. 15 Virginia Tech during the ACC Pod weekend. The Seminoles have won 11 straight games entering Friday's first game. Their last loss was on the road at Auburn, 2-1, on March 21.Â
No fans will be admitted to the Skytop Softball Stadium for this weekend's games.Â

 If fans are permitted to attend games – in some capacity – Syracuse Athletics will announce plans for spectators to secure admission to the events. Fans will be required to sit in their socially-distanced seat locations and wear a face covering.
