
Orange Win Two Races at Ocean State Invite

Justus Holden-Betts and Kennedy Tarley came away with wins to start the weekend at the Ocean State Invitational.
Holden-Betts won the 3000-meter steeplechase by a full eight seconds, crossing the line in 10:44.94, ahead of Hofstra's Jordyn McDonnell for the race win.
Tarley raced in the 400, finishing in 59.29 seconds, 0.3 seconds ahead of Providence's Catherine Stolbof for the win. She led fellow teammates Lily Worden (1:03.10) and Mariana McManus (1:05.96) to top-10 finishes in the event as well.

Abigail Spiers was fifth in the women's mile with a time of 4:50.25. Emma Eastman was a also below the five-minute mark, with a time of 4:57.31, while Kayli Jones finished 19th and Keiana Mitchell was 24th.
Reilly Zink took seventh in the women's 5k with a time of 17:04.93, while Emma Wilson wasn't far behind in 12th and Elixabeth Cultra was 18th.
Gabriel Planty was seventh in the men's 5000-meters in 14:38.08, while Matthew Dragon took 19th.
In the men's mile, Kevin Robertson placed 19th in 4:18.71.
The Orange continue the weekend on Saturday, with sprinters set to race in the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational.
