Four sprinters to Miami, distance group to Providence
Four 'Cuse sprinters will kick-start their outdoor seasons on Saturday at the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational, as the Orange are in action at a pair of meets this weekend.
Hurricane Alumni Invitational Info:
Location: Miami, Florida
Meet Date: Saturday. April 10

Miami Entries:
Shaleah Colaire and Ashley Wallace will race in the women's 100-meter hurdles, while David Peters will compete in the men's 110-meter hurdles.
Orange History at the Meet:
Freddie Crittenden III posted the world's third-fastest time of 2017 at that meet to date in the 110-meter hurdles, running to a mark of 13.42 seconds.
Syracuse's 4x100-meter relay teams turned in a pair of wins in 2018. The men's group composed of Winston Lee, Kashif Miller, Angelo Goss and Matt Moore won their race by nearly two full seconds. The women's group led by Justice Richardson, Kadejhia Sellers, Imani Clark and Dasia Pressley posted a time of 45.67 seconds.

Also happening this weekend is the Ocean State Invitational at Providence, which will feature mostly distance competitors from the Orange.
The deepest field is the 5k, which will feature Matthew Dragon and Gabriel Planty for the men, and Elizabeth Cultra, Emma Wilson and Reilly Zink for the women.
Mariana McManus, Babygirl Tarley and Lily Warden will race in the women's 400-meter run.
James Proctor will race in the 800-meter run for the men, followed by Bearett Tarris for the 'Cuse women in the event.
The Orange will also have a 4x400-meter relay squad with Warden, McManus, Tarris and Tarley.
Kevin Robertson will race in the men's mile. Emma Eastman, Keiana Mitchell and Abigail Spiers will compete for the women in the mile.
Justus Holden-Betts will compete in the 3000-meter steeplechase to conclude the races.
