SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse opens its 2022 spring season Saturday, Jan. 15 when hosts Army. Action at the Drumlins Tennis Center gets started at 11 a.m.

The Orange return five players from last year's team that earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Sophomore Viktoriya Kanapatskaya made quite an impact in her rookie campaign. The Belarus native earned All-America honors and ended the year ranked No. 20 in the nation. Kanapatskaya earned All-ACC First Team honors and was the ITA Northeast Region Rookie of the Year.

Senior Sofya Treshcheva and junior Polina Kozyreva also return. Kozyreva ranked second on the squad in singles victories last season. Trescheva and Kozyreva also paired in doubles where they played seven matches at No. 1 and 10 matches at No. 2.

At this time, fans are welcome at the Drumlins Tennis Center for Orange home matches. Admission is free. Fans must wear a mask at all times and follow Syracuse University protocols, which can be found here.
