
Three Orange Named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction

Three Orange have been named 2021 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Scholars of Distinction, announced Tuesday by the NFHCA.Â
Willemijn Boogert, Brooke Borzymowski and Clara Morrison all represented the Orange as three of 280 Division I student-athletes that achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2021-22 academic year.Â
All three Orange are first-time recipients of the prestigious academic honor and also appeared on the NFHCA Scholar Athlete list last week. Two more NFHCA academic awards remain to be announced -- the NFHCA National Academic Team awards will be announced Feb. 21 and the National Scholar-Athlete will be announced Feb. 23.Â
