MIAMI -- No. 71 Syracuse lost to No. 14 Miami, 4-0, in an ACC match on Friday evening. The Orange travel to Tallahassee to face the No. 35 Seminoles on Sunday, Apr. 17 at 11 a.m. Sunday's match will conclude the regular season as the Orange go for their tenth victory.

Miyuka Kimoto played out of the No. 1 singles position for the fifth time this season but lost to nationally ranked No. 31 singles player Daevenia Achong, 6-2, 6-0. Viktoriya Kanapatskaya was defeated by Hurricanes senior No. 50 Eden Richardson out of the No. 2 spot. In doubles play, No. 86 Shiori Ito and Sofya Treshcheva lost their match to No. 28 Daevenia Achong and Eden Richardson, while Miyuka Kimoto and Polina Kozyreva had their three match winning streak snapped.

The ACC Tournament will follow this weekend's action, taking place Apr. 21-25 in Rome, Georgia.
