SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse defeated Louisville on Friday, April 1 before losing to No. 49 Notre Dame on Sunday, April 3. Both matches were played at the Drumlins Tennis Club.

Sophomore Ines Fonte cliched the victory against Louisville. She came back after losing the first set to post a 3-6, 6-2, 7-5 victory at the No. 3 spot.

Junior Polina Kozyreva and freshman Miyuka Kimoto upset Notre Dame's No. 1 doubles team Page Freeman and Maria Olivia Castedo, 6-3. Freeman and Castedo are ranked No. 31 in the nation in the latest ITA rankings.

Syracuse plays its final home match of the season on Sunday, April 10 against Boston College at 11 a.m. at the Drumlins Tennis Club.
