THE GAME
- Syracuse plays its fourth road game in its last five contests on Thursday when the team faces UAlbany in Albany.
- The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with Rich Becker (PxP) and Mike Tesorario (analyst) on the call. Brian Higgins '04 (PxP) and Kyle Fetterly '09 (analyst) will broadcast the action on TK99/105, Cuse.com, The Varsity App and the TuneIn App, while WAER will also carry the game.

THE UALBANY SERIES
- Syracuse faces Albany for the 20th time, and first time in Albany, on Thursday.
- Syracuse owns the all-time series 17-2 and has won seven of the last-eight contests. Every single meeting between the two teams to this point has taken place in the Dome. 2020's scheduled meeting was called off due to COVID-shortened seasons. The Orange were supposed to make their first trip to Albany that year, instead moving the trip to 2022.
- Aside from the cancellation in 2020, the series has been played annually since 2004.

AGAINST THE AMERICA EAST
- Syracuse is 30-6 all-time against the seven current members of the America East Conference.
- The Orange will play two America East opponents in 2022, both on the road. The Orange already defeated Stony Brook on Long Island three weeks ago, 14-9.
- 'Cuse boasts a 8-0 mark against Binghamton, 17-2 record against UAlbany, a 2-0 record against Stony Brook, a 1-0 record vs. Vermont and a 2-5 record vs. UMBC.
- Syracuse has not played UMass Lowell or Hartford to date.

ORANGE IN BOUNCE-BACK GAMES
- The Orange are 74-27 in games following a loss during a season (this record does not include the season opener following season-ending losses) in their last-100 tries.
- Since the team won its first NCAA Championship in 1983, 'Cuse has only had 15 "losing streaks" (two or more consecutive losses) in 40 seasons.

PINCH AND PHAUP
- Jakob Phaup enters Saturday's game ranked fourth nationally in ground balls per game (8.67) after being one of the top-faceoff men in the nation through the first half of the season.
- He is one of the nation's most experienced faceoff men as well. His 834 faceoffs taken represents the 12th-most nationally among active players, while his 495 wins is 11th.
- Only Petey LaSalla (1,109) and Zach Tucci (957) have more career attempts in the ACC.
- He has won .588 percent of his faceoffs thus far in 2022, a mark that ranks 13th nationally. He and 'Cuse have won more faceoffs than their opponent in seven of the first-nine games.
