Orange Announce 2022 Schedule

SYRACUSE, N.Y.- Syracuse announced its 20-game 2022 fall schedule. The slate consists of 13 home games and seven away matches throughout the season including a trip to Clemson, the defending NCAA National Champions.

The Orange will kick off their season with three home exhibition games starting with Marist (Aug. 13), then Villanova (Aug. 16) and ending with St. Francis (Aug. 20). Syracuse will host Iona in its regular season home opener on Aug. 25 followed by a series of three additional non-conference opponents in both home and away contests, including 2021 Big Ten Champions Penn State. ACC play will open at SU Soccer Stadium on Sept. 10 against Notre Dame, the 2021 ACC Champions.

The Orange continue the rest of the season playing mid-week non-conference opponents and facing ACC opponents over the weekend. The last regular season home game will be on Oct. 28 when Syracuse hosts Boston College. The ACC Tournament begins on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

SCHEDULE NOTES

The schedule consists of four conference champions across the MAAC, the Patriot League, the ACC and the America East.
Syracuse will face nine opponents who advanced to the 2021 NCAA Championship including Clemson, the defending National Champions.
The Orange will host three exhibition matches and 10 regular season games at SU Soccer Stadium.

Game times have not been determined. The dates are subject to change.

The Orange concluded the 2021 season with an 8-8-2 record including a win against Clemson, the 2021 NCAA Champions. The team will return 22 players as well as four Orange who joined the team this winter.
