Syracuse returns to College Hockey America play with a home-and-home series against RIT this weekend. The Orange will host RIT on Friday, December 1 at 6 pm at the Tennity Ice Pavilion and then travel to play the Tigers on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 3 pm in the Gene Polisseni Center in Rochester.

Friday night's game will feature a Teddy Bear Toss and a Holiday Ugly Sweater contest. Fans are welcome to bring a teddy bear or stuffed toy for the teddy bear toss to the game. Teddy Bear Toss will benefit children in the area. All fans are invited to bring a teddy bear or other stuffed toys to participate in the Teddy Bear Toss! All teddy bears and stuffed toys will be donated as presents to area children. The Holiday Ugly Sweater Contest will take place during the first intermission. Otto will walk around the stands and find the best Ugly sweaters worn by fans who stand up during the contest.

Syracuse started playing against RIT in 2012 and have played them every season ever since. The Orange have a 30-12-4 record against the Tigers and have won the past 12 out of 13 games in the series.

What to Know About the Orange:
- Senior Tatum White moved into sixth place on the Syracuse career face-off wins record list. She has 621 victories in the circle. This season White has 150 wins at the dot, which ranks fourth in the CHA, and ranks fifth in face-off win percentage. Orange graduate student Kate Holmes ranks 10th in the league 101 face-off wins and with a .505 win percentage. White and senior Sarah Thompson are among the top 11 faceoff specialists in Syracuse history. White ranks sixth with 621 wins in the circle, while Thompson is 11th with 376 faceoff victories. White tied a career-high with 20 wins in the circle at Robert Morris (11/3).
- Forward Marielle McHale moved into the top five on the Syracuse career games played list when she took the ice against Lindenwood (11/18). The graduate student has played in 148 games wearing the Block S since 2018. Former forward Victoria Klimek holds the Syracuse record with 164 games played.
- The Orange rank 25th nationally and lead College Hockey America in penalty kill percentage (.803) and tied for ninth nationally and tied for second in the CHA in power play goals (11). Syracuse has limited opponents to 13 goals on 66 power play attempts and has scored 11 goals on 53 attempts, which is a conversion percentage of .208 and ranks 14th nationally and is first in the CHA. Forwards Darci Johal, Sarah Thompson and Tatum White and defenseman Rachel Teslak lead the Orange with two power play goals each this season. Thompson is tied for second in Syracuse history with seven power play goals. She has two this season, including against Lindenwood (11/17) and Merrimack (10/6).
