SYRACUSE, N.Y. – A sophomore goalkeeper on the Syracuse University field hockey team, Brooke Borzymowski has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large Team.

Hailing from Fallston, Maryland, Borzymowski is a Broadcast & Digital Journalism major in Syracuse's famed S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Borzymowski was one of six ACC field hockey student-athletes named to the CSC Academic All-District At Large Team.

Through two seasons in net for the Orange, Borzymowski has played nearly 2,300 minutes of field hockey, making 132 saves in that time. During the 2022 campaign, Borzymowski stopped a career-best 77 opponent attempts while leading 'Cuse to the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals for a second-straight season. Borzymowski was selected as a Scholar of Distinction this year by the NFHCA, in addition to back-to-back NFHCA Academic Squad honors.
