Schreinemacher Added to Field Hockey Roster

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Counting down the days to the fall 2023 season, Syracuse University head field hockey coach Lynn Farquhar has announced Cato Schreinemacher to the team's roster for the upcoming campaign.
"Cato is a well-rounded strong competitor with an eager and proactive mentality," said Farquhar. "Fresh off a team championship, we're excited to welcome her drive to Syracuse!"
Hailing from Rotterdam in the Netherlands, Schreinemacher brings championship-caliber field hockey to the Syracuse midfield. In her final season, she tallied 15 assists and has helped lead teams to national championships, both indoor and outdoor. Schreinemacher was selected for the Dutch National teams at the under-12 and under-15 levels and later played 10 years at the first team level.
Schreinemacher chose Syracuse for its fantastic environment and beautiful campus, feeling at home immediately. She will look to earn a bachelor's degree in biology at Syracuse while pushing herself to the furthest and be the best version of herself on the pitch and off.
