Orange XC Opens Season at Colgate

The Syracuse cross country teams return to action on Saturday at the Harry Lang Invitational.
Both squads are the defending champions of the event.

PARTICIPATING TEAMS:
Syracuse, Binghamton, Bucknell, Buffalo, Colgate, Cornell, Lafayette, Lehigh, and Navy are set to run in the meet.
ORANGE ENTRIES:
The 'Cuse women are first in action at 11 a.m. Tess Fitzmaurice, Leah Futey, Madeline Heintz, Justus Holden-Betts, Caroline Kirby, Taylor Mascetta, Madison Neuner, Siobhan O'Keefe, Olivia Shattuck, Bethany Steiner, Emily Toth-Ratazzi and Lucy Zombek are entered to run.
The men will see Noah Beveridge, Eamon Burke, Silas Derfel, Joey Eovaldi, Julian Franjieh, Joey Hendershot, Alex Herbst, Patrick Malone, Kamari Miller, Gabriel Planty, Ruben Rojas Betanzos, Matthew Scrape and Ethan Wechsler race.
ABOUT SU:
The 'Cuse men start the year ranked No. 11 in the USTFCCCA Preseason Poll and are the Northeast Region favorites. The Orange women are also ranked 30th. The ACC has six teams represented in each poll, making it one of the most difficult and competitive conferences in the nation.
